🌨️ A MESSAGE FROM THE TOWN OF ABINGTON With a Nor 🌨️ A MESSAGE FROM THE TOWN OF ABINGTON With a Nor’easter on the way, the Town of Abington is reminding residents to prepare now and be ready for possible power outages and severe weather. ✅ Have at least 3 days of water and non-perishable food ✅ Make sure you have necessary medications and first-aid supplies ✅ Check flashlights, batteries and emergency radios ✅ Secure loose outdoor items and protect basement belongings ✅ Keep emergency contact information handy ✅ Stay informed through official Town alerts and Abington’s website⁠ If you lose power, the Senior Center may open to residents, and the Abington Police Community Room will be available for charging phones if needed. The library is also expected to maintain its regular Saturday hours as long as power is available.
